JC Eco Blasting – Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by JC Eco Blasting Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accepting a quote, booking a service, or allowing works to commence, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Quotes & Scope of Works

  • All quotes are based on information provided at the time (photos, descriptions, or site visits)
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
  • Any works outside the agreed scope will be treated as a variation and quoted separately
  • Additional charges may apply where site conditions differ from those originally outlined

3. Access & Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for:

  • Providing clear and safe access to all work areas
  • Ensuring all vehicles, furniture, and personal items are removed or protected
  • Providing access to water supply and drainage where required
  • Notifying occupants of scheduled works
  • Ensuring pets and persons are kept clear of work areas

If we are unable to proceed due to lack of access, site readiness, or obstructions, a call-out or rescheduling fee may apply.


4. Work Areas & Safety

  • Work areas may be wet and slippery during and immediately after cleaning
  • We may cordon off areas for safety
  • JC Eco Blasting is not liable for incidents resulting from unauthorised access to active work zones

5. Chemicals & Cleaning Methods

We use industry-standard cleaning agents including, but not limited to:

  • Sodium hypochlorite
  • Acid-based cleaners
  • Degreasers and specialty products

While care is taken, some surfaces may react unpredictably.

JC Eco Blasting is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage becoming visible
  • Chemical reactions inherent to the material
  • Etching, fading, or discolouration where this is a known or inherent risk of the process

6. Surface Conditions & Results

Cleaning results vary depending on:

  • Surface type and porosity
  • Age and condition
  • Level of contamination

We do not guarantee complete removal of:

  • Oil stains
  • Rust
  • Efflorescence
  • Tannins or organic staining

Some staining may lighten but not fully disappear.

Previously treated, sealed, or damaged surfaces may produce inconsistent results.

Maintenance cleans are designed to manage build-up; full restoration of heavily embedded staining may require additional specialised treatment.


7. Water Usage, Drainage & Runoff

  • Water will be directed to available drainage points where possible
  • The client is responsible for ensuring adequate drainage is available

JC Eco Blasting is not liable for overflow, pooling, water migration, or drainage-related issues caused by site conditions, system limitations, or inadequate drainage.

For internal or basement works, increased care is taken; however, these environments carry additional inherent risk.


8. Internal Works & Water Intrusion

For internal, enclosed, or basement areas:

  • The client must ensure all areas are suitably sealed and prepared
  • Doors, windows, and penetrations must be closed or protected
  • Adequate drainage and ventilation must be available

JC Eco Blasting is not liable for water ingress, leakage, pooling, or damage resulting from site conditions, inadequate preparation, or building design limitations.


9. Fire Alarms, Ventilation & Fumes

Due to the use of petrol-powered equipment:

  • Exhaust fumes may trigger fire detection systems and automatic doors
  • The client is responsible for arranging isolation of fire alarms and related systems where required
  • Adequate ventilation must be provided

The isolation of relevant fire alarm systems is required prior to commencement of works where applicable.

JC Eco Blasting is not liable for any fire alarm call-out fees, building disruptions, or associated costs resulting from alarm activation where systems have not been isolated or appropriately managed prior to works.


10. Stain Removal & Specialist Treatments

Certain contaminants require specialised treatments (e.g. acid cleaning, rust removal).

These may:

  • Carry additional cost
  • Require testing
  • Not guarantee full removal

Repeat treatments may be required and are not included unless specified.


11. Sealing Services

Where sealing is performed:

  • Penetrating sealers do not prevent all staining
  • Sealer lifespan varies depending on use, traffic, environmental exposure, and maintenance

JC Eco Blasting does not guarantee sealer longevity, performance, or complete stain prevention.

Topical coatings:

  • May alter appearance (including colour, gloss, and slip resistance)
  • May wear unevenly over time

The client is responsible for ongoing maintenance and care.


12. Environmental & Surrounding Areas

We take care to protect surrounding areas; however:

  • Overspray or runoff may affect nearby surfaces
  • Sensitive materials (plants, metals, glass, finishes) must be disclosed

JC Eco Blasting is not liable for damage where risks were not disclosed prior to works.


13. Variations & Additional Works

Any additional works requested during or after service will be:

  • Quoted separately
  • Approved prior to proceeding

14. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • A minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice is required for residential works
  • A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required for commercial or scheduled maintenance
  • Late cancellations may incur a fee

15. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are as per invoice
  • Late payments may incur fees
  • We reserve the right to pause or cancel ongoing services for overdue accounts

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • JC Eco Blasting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss
  • Liability is limited to the value of the services provided

17. Insurance

We maintain appropriate Public Liability Insurance for all works undertaken.

18. Pricing Review

JC Eco Blasting reserves the right to review pricing periodically based on operational costs, site conditions, or scope of works.

Any adjustments will be communicated in advance.


19. Acceptance

By accepting a quote, booking a service, or allowing works to proceed, the client confirms they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
